On Being BorkedReader comment on item: On Being Borked Submitted by Carmen Waggoner, Ph.D. (United States), Aug 28, 2003 at 16:13 Dear Dr. Pipes,This article was long overdue; now you have set the record straight. Therefore, please, stay focused on the future, and continue to be the voice people recognize as the voice of truth. I have constantly backed your point of view, since mine is similar. However, lately, the messages I used to send Senator Talent (of Missouri), to reinforce your arguments, are not longer reaching their destination; I am receiving form-type messages asking me whether I am from Missouri, and to contact the senator with that information, at another email address. I have tried several times, but it is a dead end. I even asked why my messages are not returned to me, if indeed they do not reach their destination; likewise, the articles I forward, yours and others in your group, are not returned either. I sometimes receive a form-type of message stating "message to the wrong senator". It is a puzzle. Could there be a system that blocks me from backing you in the political arena? Please, let me know how to circumvent this situation, so that my voice can help you in your fight. Best regards, Carmen Waggoner, Ph.D. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
