I am so, so glad that you have been appointed!! Your appointment will be of tremendous benefit for all parties concerned about achieving Peace -- including (most importantly) in the Muslim world. I am very pleased with President George W. Bush\'s initiative and courage to forego the likes of CAIR and other enemies of peace.

Again, congratualations Dr. Pipes, and I wish you the best.
