Mr. Pipes, I admire your insights and find your articles to be stimulating and informative. My personal opinion of the bias against you is that your oponents link your appointment to President Bush. Their determination to undermine Pres. Bush extends to his appointments, regardless of the qualifications these persons may have.

I would encourage you to persist. I believe you are on the right side of this issue.
