So totally in the darkReader comment on item: Bush on Israel: Heartburn for All Submitted by Jack Ajzenberg (Canada), Mar 13, 2003 at 08:23 ...For 2000 years, Empires,Empire wannabees,Superpowers, pretenders in effect almost every National,Federal,Regional entity as well as every major &minor religion on every continent on the globe have used the Jews & the Jewish question as strategic pawns in their respective machinations dedicated towards the preservation of their own power and the contiguous agendas therein.President Bush and the present Republican administration are no different in this regard. When it is in U.S. interests to 'serve up' Israel on a platter stained with Jewish blood it will do so without a moment's hesitation....perhaps only a single moment or as long as it takes to do calculus related to the impact of abandoning Israel to the sinister vagaries of the Road map to Purgatory on 'Jewish support' for the GOPs next run at the presidency and both houses. To believe somehow that the Bush administration's position on Israel is a paradigm shift, the dawn of a new era of kindred national spirits, is the first giant leap towards 'National suicide' in Israel. Let's get real here. We are our own best and only friends..and we are our own worst enemies.
