Right on the moneyReader comment on item: Bush on Israel: Heartburn for All Submitted by Ron Rightnowar (United States), Mar 4, 2003 at 10:51 The President's position is a difficult one to be sure. But after some scrutiny of behaviors I find your analysis to be extremely accurate and have thought so for some time.Bush knows in his heart that there can be no compromise of Israel's land without divine ramifications. Whether or not one believes the Bible, one must acknowledge the remarkable track record of recorded events in this amazing book. The President, as a confessing Christian, is compelled to act accordingly. Yet he faces immense pressure from trusted advisers and the world community to move toward a Palestinian state, thus his quandary. Ultimately, I believe it will come down to the strength Bush is willing to show in his convictions. I know he believes in what God has said about the nation of Israel and its future, but will he act on those convictions or compromise to the will of others and succumb to political pressure? I do not believe HE knows the answer to that question, so all we can do is pray and ask for wisdom for him. Our nation's future hangs in the balance and Bush knows it...
