You have, I believe, articulated the means by which the White House can busy some mischivious hands over at State and at the same time maintain freedom of action so as to influence events. Your last sentence says it all. I believe the Palistinians have drawn up there own roadmap to hell and the US should keep them firmly upon their chosen path.
