nice post. but i doubt this will happen. In fact, Israel will have to worry about role of Russia and China in the region and might have to re-assess its ties with US in the next 50 yrs. US will not be able to counter Russia/China forever. and sooner or later Arab lobbies will penetrate Capitol Hill and one day you will hear about balance of power theories. as usual it will start with condemnation of human rights by Israel, and that phrase 'disproportionate response' will become 'inhuman response'. and as usual Europe will be incoherent and defintely not unconditionally supportive of Israel. I think it will be prudent of Israel to engage Russia and China.
