Nasrallah interview

Reader comment on item: Arabs Disavow Hizbullah

Submitted by Fabio (United States), Apr 23, 2012 at 13:10

Isn't it time to comment on Hassan Nasrallah interview with Julian Assange? It is all posted online (http://assange.rt.com/nasrallah-episode-one/). From the first 10 minutes I could gather two very interesting admissions:

1) That Hizballah does not continue to exist in order to "resist" any problems between Lebanon and Israel, but to end Israel itself regardless of what happens in Lebanon;

2) That the 2000 withdrawal from Lebanon by Israel greatly empowered Hizballah, since they were seen as "victors" in war.

There are a lot of questions about Syria and Assad, and the responses are quite predictable.
