Hostilities wll continue in Palestine even if Israel is destroyed

These comments by the Saudis and Egyptians are very important. They should remind us that, even if the State of Israel were destroyed, the result would not be a peaceful "State of Palestine", but rather a continuing battleground between the Sunnis and the Shi'ites for domination of the area, and/or between Egypt and the southern tier countries against Syria and the northern tier.

Those who think that the creation of the State of Israel was a mistake because of the continuing episodes of violence are foolish to believe that, in the absence of the State of Israel, the bloodshed would cease.
