But will the Lebanese people dissavow Hizbbullah?

Reader comment on item: Arabs Disavow Hizbullah

Submitted by JM Stark (United States), Jul 27, 2006 at 21:22

I just watched Hizbullah Secretary General , Hassan Nasrallahs' , speech on Al-Manar TV, July 26, and my fear that his statement to his audience about American / Israeli ambitions for Lebanon and a "New Middle East " and his plan to wage a war of attrition on Israel should they try to occupy Lebanon again; will find more support than the more moderate Arab voices. But my greatest fear is that the United Nations will get involved and really screw things up!!
