That is like saying Hitler was a peaceful man. Shazia, all sahih hafiths, all earliest siras known, written by imams and believers confrm what Madina suras indicate that Mohammed made
75+ offensive unprovoked raids all over Arabia. He massacred, killed, pillaged, looted and raped. Women were captured and distributed .Sahih hadiths and early siras (Ishaq,Tabari, Waqqidi, Sad) are full of the details. Many of the hadiths have been quoted to you by many , you keep repeating the same mantra. You are denying every available record of muslim history and ahadiths. You dont want to trust the must trusted earliest accoubts but you want to trust some later day apologist writers. Why do you then trust quran since Mohammed did not write it nor checked it for accuracy. It was compiled many years later by the very same people who collected his hadiths.
Current quran is supposed to be the version favoured by Usman who had several other differing versions collected and burned. He was eventually murdered by muslims for the same reason.

Mohammed terrorized whole of Arabia and his rightly guided khalifas and faithful followers Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman and Ali terrorized all surrounding countries like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Egypt. Dont tell me it was all in self defense. Banu Umaiyyas after them left a blood trail from Spain to India, killing millions, looting and raping innocent peaceful non muslims quoting quran and sunna, dont tell me they did all in self defense.Mohammed Bin Qasim Mahmood Ghaznavi and hundreds of other muslim invaders terrorized India, was it in self defense?. Between them muslim jihadis killed over 100 million peaceful hindus and budhists, between 8th and 17th century quoting , was that in self defense also?
The Imam al-Shafi'i nn his famous book, "The Ordinances of Qur'an" (page 50 of the second part), he says "The apostle of God defeated the people until they entered Islam by hook or by crook. The apostle of God killed and captured (many) of the people of the Book until some of them embraced Islam, and he imposed the poll-tax on some others."
Islam has approved war so that the Word of God becomes supreme. This is war for the cause of God (Holy War). Muhammad, therefore, sent his ambassadors to eight kings and princes in the neighborhood of the Arab Peninsula to call them to embrace Islam. They rejected his call. Thus, it became incumbent on the Muslims to fight them."
On page 384 he wrote:
"Islamic law demands that before Muslims start fighting infidels (unbelievers), they first deliver the message of Islam to them. It was proven that the prophet never fought people before he called them to embrace Islam first. He used to command his generals to do so also."

In his book, "Jurisprudence in Muhammad's Biography", the Al Azhar scholar, Dr. Muhammad Sa'id Ramadan al-Buti says the following (page 134, 7th edition):
"The Holy War, as it is known in Islamic Jurisprudence, is basically an offensive war. This is the duty of Muslims in every age when the needed military power becomes available to them. This is the phase in which the meaning of Holy War has taken its final form. Thus the apostle of God said: ‘I was commanded to fight the people until they believe in God and his message "'

The verse (9:5) does not leave any room in the mind to conjecture about what is called defensive war. This verse asserts that Holy War which is demanded in Islamic law, is not defensive war
