Reader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out

What you say has the sharp ring of truth. Sikh separatist militants are well-entrenched especially in Canada and the US and UK, and have over the years developed close links with all anti-India terrorist groups, probably with common funding sources, and backers in intelligence agencies with a finger in every insurgency. Ensconced in cushy lifestyles in the West, they are the purveyors of misery in the name of 'Human Rights' in India, also being the source of rabid anti-India hate propaganda in the West, and on the web. Any stick is good enough for them to beat India, and Indians, with much support from vested interests. Unfortunately, their gullible audiences rarely have access to authentic information about them or about India, to be carried away by their Goebbelspeak. The same standards of civilised debate as prevail in general in the societies harbouring them are never applied to these groups, which now display evidence of strong networking with Islamists to further their destructive agenda. Interestingly, as with other co-terrorists, Sikh separatists have killed more innocent Sikhs in the state of Punjab in India than innocent Hindus in the course of nearly a decade long insurgency that was finally quelled through democratic measures with firm resolve. Acts of barbarism included separating and shooting innocent Hindu villagers travelling in buses. This is how the victims of severe Islamist violence on the borders turned into perpetrators of equally heinous crimes against humanity in the name of religion and politics.

On June 23,1985, Air India Flight 182 from Montreal to London exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Ireland. All 329 people on board, mostly Canadians, were killed. The bombings were the deadliest terrorist strike before the Sept 11 attacks and were Canada's worst case of mass murder. At the end of a 20-year long wild goose chase by Canadian authorities, the British Columbia Supreme Court recently acquitted 2 Sikhs accused of the Kanishka bombing off the Irish coast. Another bomb simultaneously went off in the hangar at Narita Airport in Japan, because of a delayed flight.
