"I am a Muslim, and i completely agree with Samir. Good wisdom. I love humanity, and for those of us who support stripping burkhas of off muslim women, obviously have no respect for other cultures."

You cannot be a humanist by forcing women to weir a burqa. You have no right to mentally dominate women such that they feel obliged to weir clothes according to the Islamic doctrine. This has nothing to do with culture but with power and oppression.

"i grew up in america since i was 5 yrs old. I went to public school here, and now i'm an 18 year old that goes to college. should i be forced to drink alcohol in college simply because i am a muslim"

Growing up in America need not make you American.

"the way the muslim women in italy is forced to take off her burkha? is that how one "stands up for tradition"? by eradicating other cultures and beliefs?"

Burqa's are inherently impractical and an oppressive piece of clothing. I have yet to find a women who truly wants to be covered from top to toe and transpirate profusely 24/7. Would you? No? So do women. The burqa is against humanity.

"I am a Muslim, and yet i am an american. I pray as a muslim, and wear clothes like an american. and i will be a muslim as long as i live.

i feel ashamed that fellow americans would support such a transgression against freedom."

Any attempt to impose Islamic totalitarianism should be fought and condemned. I'd like to see you in the front line fighting the Radical Islamic doctrine. Something tells me you won't sign up.
