Citizenship requirements

Reader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out

Submitted by Yehoshua Zeller (United States), Sep 1, 2005 at 14:46

Fethullah Gulen is indeed a scholar and idealist and the world of Islam as he sees it would be a most wonderful thing. But the real world of Islam is the opposite of secular Turkey and the idealism of the Scholars whose House Of Witness is a false hope of Utopia as the Ideal world of Communism was.Islam is more like Animal Farm and Darkness At Noon than the dream world of the Islamic Idealists.

All religions of the Past have stressed "pushing" their religion ...many by force. Today's World shows that Trade and Communication is better than having an anthill religion in place of respect for each other.

Islam has been isolated in its own part of the world until recently. Acceptance of the need of living in peace with all our brothers and sisters is necessary and should be a requirement for all new immigrants into the nations of Europe and North America.
If you allow me to continue on why there is need for change in accepting new immigrants into America,I'll continue illustrating this importance by the facts why we now need such a new review of citizenship requirements from peoples who have been living in a "closed society" for so long.
Thank you,
Yehoshua Zeller
