Legal entry to Canada not welcome

Reader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out
in response to reader comment: Canada's open welcome mat

I was born in Canada.
My mother and father were both born in Canada.
My mother's father was born in Canada.
All my other grandparents were born in USA.
But in spite of this my father's father served in the RCMP and my father's grandfather was mayor of a small town in Alberta.

I don't live in Canada now and haven't for 30 years, but I thought it would be nice for my baby to have Canadian citizenship..
Well that was 4 years ago.. (when I applied for a passport for him by descent). Still waiting..

It seems he might not be entitled as I cannot show a strong association with the country...

Well I mentioned this to some of my colleagues at work. My Palistinian friends told me no problem, and gave me a lawyer to contact. Go here they said, he helped us. 1000.00 and your son will be right.

What a crock.....
