Reader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out

Freelancer, your comments are typical of a Moslem living in a non-Moslem country. It is only when they are a minority that the virtues of freedom and secularism suddenly dawn on them, that is why your words do not hold water. I would only believe you if you were a Moslem from Saudi Arabia or Pakistan or Iran etc and you said those same words. Isn't it strange that we hear of inter-faith dialogues and organizations such as Council on American Islamic relations, Canadian Islamic congress etc only in the west and Israel. Have you ever heard of inter-faith dialogues in any Moslem country? Have you ever heard of an organization called Council for Saudi Christian or Jewish relations?

In case you and the majority of Moslems don't not know, freedom is a two way street, if you demand then you should also give. Moslems have an uncanny knack of demanding your freedoms and rights when you come to the west, although you treat all non-Moslems in every Islamic country as second-class citizens and torture and kill them for practicing their religion. Jews are banned from entering and even annihilated in some Moslem countries. And just for the record, Israel, the only Jewish country in the world has a 15% Moslem population. All the Moslem countries in the world put together do not even have a quarter of that percentage of Jews. Now, I am not personally holding you responsible for those crimes, but if you are as you say, a good Moslem, who believes in the freedom of man, then it is your duty to enlighten your fellow believers rather than sit on your hands and spout out empty platitudes to us non-Moslems.
