Thank you for your explanations, and to enrich idea of looting, we should to understand that LOOTING is coming after each Jihad war (holy war), it's an evident consequence.
So imagine by yourself, today there are 164 verses in Quran, are calling directly for Jihad !

In resume, Quran as book as a foundation book for Islam :
- Calls to jihad.
- Continues to practice slavery and concubinage. where drink is forbidden but not SLAVERY !
- To kill or oppress who reject Islam (the only religion accepted by God !).
- Classifies women as inferior humans. and allowed to beat them (wives) until they obey.
- Practices pedophilia, if we take Muhammad's "life story" as a reference for the most perfect Muslim ever lived. In age 53 years old he married to a child of 8 years old (Aisha) !
- Flagellation (whipping, lashes) of people.
- Stoning people. where Muhammad himself participated in one of them.
- Killing as a limit (punishment) for apostasy, to avoid corruption and tyranny over the earth.
- Creates Khalifah system. and obey him always.
- Taxing (al-Geziya) the people of book (Christians and Jewish only) to humiliate them, the goal is pushing them to change the religion and become Muslims.
- Cutting members (hands or feet) of humans, as punishment for thieves. and it can achieve to head cutting, too.
- Terrorizing the enemy of God and enemy of Muslims. And actually, when we are naming every Muslim as a "Terrorist" this is true, because God in Quran, commands all Muslims to TERRORIZE the enemy. Quran 08:60
