A good non-spiritual analysis

Reader comment on item: Can Islam Be Reformed?

Submitted by David Ferguson (United States), Jul 2, 2013 at 06:55

I like and respect Daniel Pipes. This article is good from a secular point of view. Though there are a lot of "Muslims ought..." and "Muslims need to..." included therein. From what quarter do those 'oughts' arise? ... the natural human movement towards tyranny. Mostly though, Mr. Pipes ignores the spiritual fact that that Islam is a massive ... religion, that grips a billion souls. Satan does not give up that kind of power without massive suffering inflicted.
