I suspect this should have read, "radical islamist were provided - in return for influence and money - the military and medical technologies from West." There lies the problem and the solution.

Mr. Rosenblatt, I don't think "you", the Americans, will be able to do anything to change Islam. I suspect you have enough problems in your hands with the influence of evangelican Chrisitianity in your politics.
