Response to commenter Bryan: Get your fact straight!

Reader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools

Submitted by C.R Grube (United States), Jan 26, 2005 at 17:34

Mr. Bryan,
I will have to assume that your accusations about the public school systems in this country and the curriculum they teach are based on intensive personal research?

I would also have to assume that you have copies of ALL the 50 state curriculum guidelines showing a mandate to teach the harmful subjects you have mentioned to young, impressionable students?

I will ALSO assume that you have in your possesion, copies and samples of lesson plans proving that public educators here in the U.S are in fact contributing to the ultimate downfall of American youth? And...I will expect that you have first hand knowledge of such events?

Uhh.......yeh.........didn't think so!

Mr. Bryan,
Get your facts staight before you spew this garbage out on a public forum!

You are doing nothing but spreading mistrust in eachother..and yet again....pointing a finger of blame on someone else. We (public school teachers) are NOT spreading the faith of Islam to your children! We are required by law to give a brief historical view of the religions of the world. And thats it! We do NOT badmouth this country, or support communism, or prescribe to socialist beliefs!

Most of us in this business are here because we believe in what we are doing. We openly support this country in our actions, in our words, and in our teachings.

At the rate you're going Mr. Bryan..what's next...book burnings?
