Reader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools
in response to reader comment: Religion out of classroom

Submitted by Jennifer K (United States), Nov 28, 2010 at 20:26

I woukd like to point out to RC that the constitution of the United States addressed the need for a clear seperation of church and state. Does RC wish to have the constitution of the United States re-tooled in order to allow prayer and Christianity to be openly practiced in public schools? Our public schools are having a hard enough time meeting the needs of students without having to worry about religious intolerence, social ignorance and the arrogant claims of Christian superiority over the rest of the world. As Christians, we are called to practice our faith with humility, tolerence and love for one another. I find these sentiments grossly lacking in many of the comments posted on this site.
