Before you read this, I am not Islamic, so don't say I'm throwing a pity party for myself

I was searching for some verses from the Koran (I like to study religions) when this came up and I am amazed that some of you people can exsist in a modern society. Christianity be the only religion allowed? That's probably one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard. Do you know why some of the Muslim countries are as bad as they are? Because they aren't tolerant, and because they're willing to use their religion to get what they want - just like every religion that has ever controlled the state has done.

Simply enough, you hate the people who pervert religion for their own uses to do whatever they want. Which I agree with. People are saying that Militant Islam is going for world domination through violence. Uh... doh! It's MILITANT Islam for a reason! They have good reasons to be angry, the USA, a country that loves freedom, deposes popularly elected presidents and rulers simply because it doesn't like them. And no, I'm not referring to guys who hold a gun to someone's head and say vote for me, I mean voting.

Why can't a library have books on Islam? I fully support books on Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, heck I'll even support books explaining Satanism!

". No other religion for hundreds of years has used such hatred, racism and prejudice. " ... What was that about Christianity for pretty much a millenium? Oh... exactly that. According to Christians, blacks were inferior because they were black, the color of evil and humility, and thusly they were below good, white Christians. Islam is less racist, all races are equal to Islam, it is the people who are racist.

You want to know something? Iraq was a secular country before it was invaded. Any religion was free to pratice. Osama Bin LAden hated Saddam Hussein for that, the two were enemies because the former was fundamentalist, the latter was secular. USA invades Iraq, while leaving Saudi Arabia, easily the worst and most oppresive Muslim country, to itself. Iran is the same, when I traveled to Iran I met Christians and Jews, because in the Koran, Christians and Jews are the brothers of the Book, while their book is the Bible and the Old Testament, they are still a part of the true religion. Muslims do not hate Jesus, a proper Muslim respects him as the Prophet he is.

Judging Islam by the acts of extremists is judging Christianity by the Klu Klux Klan, and I doubt most of you want to be associated with those white-robed nutjobs. It's associating Christianity with the Inquisition.

Is Muslims are so terrible, why is it that Jewish forces in Israel have killed 5 times as many Palestinian CHILDREN in their wars?

People say that they hate having to fund Muslims when they pay at the pump. You're not so much as funding them, you're funding greedy corporations. The oil we buy is mostly Venezuelan also. And if it does still bother you despite that, stop driving. Just stop, walk. People got around a few thousand years with their feet, or a horse, I'm sure you could try it. The Amish are still getting along fine the last I checked.

People need to be taught about all important religions in school. I learned about the Reformation in class, because it's important to history. People need the same education about Islam.
