A serious problemReader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools Submitted by Dominic Rubat (Canada), Nov 24, 2004 at 13:13 I was born in Morocco and I know Moslems quite well, as many of my schooll friendswere Moslems. Until I finished at University (1965) they were still manageable and reasonable. But now, more militant elements are running the show and the mass is following, keeping silent even when they don't really agree...It is the will of the loudest that prevails, and this is very sad for Moslems who are alienating people against themselves. The more vocal fringe of Moslems is the part that contains Islamists, extremists, who aggressively proselytize. The worst part of it all is that Christians and Jews seem to be unaware of this sitation, or worse, they turn a blind eye to it.I personally believe that the situation is dramatic, and if nothing is done fast, the world is going to be Moslem in two generations or less! Dr Pipes, I read your work and share your views on the problem of militant Islam, Sincerely, D.RUBAT Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
