Re: History Alive

Reader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools
in response to reader comment: What has Cindy Ross' progress been re History Alive?

Submitted by Cindy Ross (United States), Nov 13, 2009 at 02:10

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get History Alive banned. My complaint went all the way up to the CA Dept of Education, but I was treated like I was some kind of closed minded bigot. Other than my son being given permission to use another book and being given a couple of alternative assignments, nothing really happened. I'm disgusted, but for personal reasons can't follow up on it right now.
