Poor beenish, it appears that she doesnt know her holy books.. I too used to think it was a good book until read it..and others of their holy books. Beenish needs to read it for HERSELF... But I fear from how innocent she is she will be in for a horrific shock... She sounds like a beautiful, gentle caring person, poor kid, it is hard to have believed in something then to discover that you have only been told or read half the story.. It has taken some Muslims a long time to allow this to sink in and then to get out. In some Muslim countries those who get out are killed..

I have a friend who was a Muslim, she woke up and she lives in fear of her life every minute.. she is of course in hiding. She is now counted as an apostate thus will be killed if they find her, even I dont know where she lives...

Little beenish, I also got a shock to read what was in the first part of the Old Testerment and didnt want to believe it, but it is there in black and white, and up until the ten commandements, it had some things in it which I didnt like.. But it is there and I had to accept it.. and from the ten commandements on they were instructed to not commit murder, to love etc..

beenish, please read the last three quarters of your own quran and others of your books for yourself.. dont live in fear, fear is not of God.
