Hidebound IslamReader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools Submitted by Lenn Chow (Canada) (Canada), Nov 24, 2004 at 15:25 I couldn't help thinking of how about a year ago a young Muslim walked into the office of my Presbyterian Church and forthrightly invited and entreated the minister to do what he could about converting the whole 300 member congregation to islam. That also confirmed my own experience of having gone with a small group to the local Islamic mosque as a sort of good-neighbour-get-to-know one another effort, only to be brought into a room and be similarly preached at. Of course, all that is just a measure of the relative unsophistication of the present state of Islam in general.
