Seniors Voting For Romney/Ryan Ticket

Reader comment on item: Romney's Remarkable Speech in Jerusalem
in response to reader comment: senior citizen

Any senior, voting Romney and Ryan into the White House, wants to lose their own, their children's and grand children's Medicare benefits. Once ObamaCare is abrogated by Romney, the donut will once again exist. Jo Ann Gill has at least another twelve to sixteen years to live. If Romney and Ryan are elected, she may not live much longer, if her Medicare benefits cease to exist unless her husband left her a lot of money to cover the cost of private healthcare insurance coverage of nursing home fees. Romney and Ryan intend to eliminate the Medicaid program for the elderly, which means an elderly person will have to cover the entire cost of their assisted living and nursing home benefits. And just when you thought that it couldn't get worse. If your concern is solely about Israel, Obama has proven his support for the State of Israel. Going by Romney's convention, I don't think he's presidential material. Romney has had twelve years of practice leading to his convention. His convention was a disaster. If this reflects how he will operate the country's various institutions, when are surely in deep trouble, especially when Romney insults our foreign neighboring countries. Hey, Romney forgot that the Cold War is over. Calling Russia "the number one enemy state" of the U.S. is extremely counterproductive, especially when Russia has trilliions of dollars of investments in the U.S. Russia also has loaned the U.S. government hundreds-of-billions-of-dollars. A senior citizen would have to be a really selfish individual to vote for Romney -- and a masochist.
