Mr McGinley,

You seem to have the numbers figured out and the election already determined. I would like to ask you why you think that the American people will not vote their pocketbooks and if they are feeling economically desperate, won't they choose Romney for the economics advantage? I think that what you say may have truth, that the Mormon religion is difficult for many to accept, but still it comes down to who they believe will make them better off in their living conditions and prosperity, no?

They may not like the Mormon religion, but there are people who voted for Mr. Obama last time who are in a much worse economical state than in 2008, or are unemployed, or secretly do not agree with all of the funding that he is spending and his Obama care money. Also, the debt is out of control and they may feel the need for a more responsible money manager, not an idealist who gives good speeches.

It is true and clear that the democrats and liberals who voted for him in 08 will again vote for him, perhaps some holding their noses as you say, but there may be enough, regardless of their religious orientation, who are more concerned about the state of the economics than being a proud person who votes for liberals. and that will make the difference.

And lastly, I think that the people who would worry about Romney being Mormon would also be worried about Obama having Muslim background and not going to church during his time in the White House.

What do you think?
