Reader comment on item: Romney's Remarkable Speech in Jerusalem

Submitted by SJosh (Argentina), Jul 27, 2012 at 23:14

This is pretty much the main reason I pay no attention to the US politics, because the politicians are so involved with their donors and basically get paid to say things that are favorable, or they are on a one track goal to get elected and they are full of soundbytes and empty rhetoric. We want to believe that politics is not all corruption and favors and secret handshakes, but it is. Those who face reality make their judgements accordingly.

There is no politician who can say anything to convince me otherwise. The US might as well go to the parliamentary system of government because in essence it is what they practice. The head of the Republicans says things endemic to republican views, and the democrat does the same. The only thing of any consequence is the ratio of R-D in the congress at any given time to limit or support the R or D in office.
