Reader comment on item: Give Gaza to Egypt

Egypt won't take it back, if the US and Israel paid them to take it!
They want to see Israel fail as a state, just less overtly than the other arab nations. To make Gaza an Israeli problem, allows them to cry about Israel blockading Gaza without having to ACTUALLY CARE about the Palestinians!
