These two can't be together

Reader comment on item: A Strongman for Iraq?

Submitted by George El Masri (United States), Apr 28, 2003 at 12:45

Democracy and Islam can't and will never work hand in hand. Islamic teachings are against Democracy. No equality for people, they are either believers and non believers (infidels) , Women are less than men rulers are to be obeyed and you have no right to say anything against. It is a hopeless case. Sadaam was your man, the real weapons of mass distruction is Militant Islam ala Khomeini . Let us see what Saudis will do to stop this wave coming from Iran. You pull the Americans from the gulf and no Iraq Sadam , now the road to Turkey and Iran to fight over Iraq . You know this war opened a huge can of worms. It is just the start. The rich Saudis should be thinking to leave now. Saudi family, you need a mircale or you need USA. As Saudis do not beleive in mircales I think you have one option. Have a real Army now and not before it is too late . Your friend Hosni maybe your best friend now.
