Khomenini Should Never Have Been Allowed To Leave France Alive

Reader comment on item: Intimidating the West, from Rushdie to Benedict
in response to reader comment: Intimidation!

With the elimination of this one part madman, part charlatan and part semi-god, think of the lives saved!

No extermination of the B'hai in Iran and other minorities. No Iran -Iraq eight year war. Hundreds of thousands of Iranian and Iraqis saved including Iranian children sent into minefields with korans to make a safe path for Iranian armored vehicles. No Hizbollah. No disintegration of Lebanon. No bombing of Jews in Argentine. No little fascists like Nasrallah. No war with Israel. No Israeli occupation of Southern Lebanon. No Nazi propaganda organ like al-Manar television spewing hate and anti-Semitism and polluting the Middle East. Perhaps no Saddam as we knew him as the Shah always kept him in line up to a point which disappeared with the fall of Iran into Islamic revolutionary chaos with the Shah's fall. The history of the region would be so different and so much bllod and lives would have been saved. And today no mullah government almost in reach of nuclear WMD calling for a Holocaust of Jews

All for making sure this cancer didn't reach Iran.

When the West - so foolish and near sighted to its own detrement begins to understand that there are people whose continued existence on this sphere only endangers all of us, the so called war on terrorism will be so much more successful and much shorter than most could ever think.
