That DOES not imply that all those who hold that position (inc me) think that either intervention was wrong, or that the only option is to withdraw. My personal view - the interventions were right, but the aftermath was tactically totally fubar and that has caused some people to wrongly take the terrorist route. IMO of you want to defeat an enemy (the terrorists) you have to start by seeking to understand what causes them. Understanding implies neither support nor agreement, but is simply an essential tool in the battle.
