Islam should change -- not UK laws

Reader comment on item: Piggybacking on Terror

Submitted by Vinodgupt (United States), Aug 29, 2006 at 14:18

The answer to demands and suggestions put up by "moderate" Muslims -- as if any such thing exists -- should be simple. This is UK -- this is a democracy. Democracy is not going to change to suit the Muslims. Islam should be changed to suit the democracy. Anything that does not fulfill the fundamentals of democracy should be rejected outright even if Allah thinks otherwise. If democarcy does not suit the Muslims, they should be most welcome to leave the country.
