Foolish British Govt.Reader comment on item: Piggybacking on Terror in Britain Submitted by Swaminathan (Canada), Sep 1, 2006 at 16:31 The press reacted furiously to these demands. The Guardian's Polly Toynbee condemned the open letter as "perilously close to suggesting the government had it coming." The Daily Mirror's Sue Carroll portrayed Mr. Pasha's position as "perilously close to blackmail." Well the reaction was anything but furious. In fact it was so cowardly the Brits and their media are 'terror' stricken with these threats and blackmails from Islamofascists. Is it so difficult to amend laws that can make these kind of threats 'amounting to treason'. These statements are tantamount to war against the state and these vermins be it Sadiq Khan or whatever Pasha must be put behind bars for a long period and then deported. Never mind they are citizens but the law has to be changed to prevent these fascists from getting away with these kind of utterings. I am no Brit lover but given the choice I would surely choose a westerner and a western country as my friend than a muslim. Implement these stern laws and the in no time the results will be there for all to see. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
