in response to reader comment: Questions for Muslims to answer in Ireland - might be helpful for the US and other countries

Obviously you are rather proud of your treatise, and perhaps you should be. However, the answers to your questions can be provided by anyone who has studied the Qur'an.

1. No, he can't provide that assurance. There are only two choices, either Dar al-Islam, or Dar al-Harb. There is a third choice and that is eliminate Islam, but that is not a choice that Muslims will consider.

2. No, he can't any more than you are willing to abrogate your Catholic theology.

3. Worrying about militants is simply to complex and inadequate, just ban Muslims until they renounce their religion. Until then, they are too dangerous, and why take unnecessary chances?

4. The answer to this question is "Taqiyya". Taqiyya is the practise of telling lies in order to confuse or deceive the enemy. Muhammad practiced taqiyya and sanctioned it as legitimate for Muslims.

5. There are no reasonable measures as the violent part of Islam will be taught in private, that is without inspectors present.

6. Yes to both questions.

It is my hope that the Muslim Community will come up with answers which will help safeguard this country from any fundamentalist Muslim threat.

Regarding your last statement, remember Taqiyya.
