Dear Dr Pipes:

Muslims dearly believe that Prophet Muhammad was miraculously taken to Jerusalem from Meccah by God in one night. Shouldn't this be taken as a proof that until that day their God valued Jews and their icons enough. That should have convinced the Prophet (and his modern followers) to respect Jews rather than vilifyng them as people who have deviated from the path.

religious theories are so subject to interpretations that they should not ever be considered the final truth.
