For the readers what got into the Qur'an from the Judeo-Christian tradition was introduced via the Syrian tradition written in Syriac and yes the primary source is the Hebrew Bible

In the case of Psalm 84:6 or مزمور ٨٤:٦ here is the Arabic translation

http://biblehub.com/arb/psalms/84.htm

And here is the Arabic translation where we have the word Baka

عابرين في وادي البكاء

Or 3Abeereen fi wadi al-BAKA' or Crossing in the valley of WEEPING

Notice that there is no double consonant hamza sign for the letter kaf and there is no Ta marbouta and the last letter is an alif Marsoura which is no where to be found in the Quranic بكّة

This is how Muhammad would have read and understood the word Baka in مزمور ٨٤:٦ and this is how his followers would have understood such word

Again ignorance has no limits so claiming that the word بكى or weep has anything to do with the Quranic gem بكّة (or بككة ) means that who ever told you such a lie our dear GoD is ignorant and does not know his Arabic

Now you tell me why do you make a fool of yourself?
