We don't need to protect our religion because religion is not a thing that you can protect. Besides, Islam is the true religion of God. You can be a Muslim any time you want as you can reject it and become a follower of another religion any time you want. You can even turn and become an atheist any time you want. Your link is with God and not with another Muslim or a pack of Muslims. God's message about this issue is clear in the Quran. You take it or leave it. It is all up to you.

Some Imams are too extreme as some Christian preachers and some Rabbi are too extreme. In Islam like any other religion, some people are good and some are bad. Some are in between. Only arrogants demonize other people's belief and take theirs to be the best. I suggest you read more and understand the Quran better. You may change your mind about Islam.
