Desensitizing Muslims

Reader comment on item: Those Danish Cartoons and Me

Time is ripe to desensitize Muslims. We need more provocation not for the sake of provocation itself but I am afraid it is the only way to therapy them. You make them overjoyed when you praise them, say their countries are the most beautiful in the world and their religion the best even if you tell lies but you can't do them a favour this way. Time has now come for them be self-critical instead of self-complacent. A little provocation and they are deeply hurt. They tend to lose their honour and face very easily. This is the case when people are blind or see with one eye. On the hand they are highly sensitive when you criticize them and are very fast in making decisions or passing judgement in the same way they get married or divorced but on the other hand they are not aware of their ill-manner. It is always the Americans who are to blame because it is a very convenient way. They never do any thing wrong or at least don't have the mental ability to admit. They don't appreciate they have the freedom to write what they want on this platform although no criticism of Islam is possible on their platforms. You need to open their eyes and make them face the truth even if it is bitter. But often a bitter pill works wonders.
