in response to reader comment: Cartoons and Lunacy of Perception

You have hit the nail on the head. These guys have no sense of humor. Nothing in the Qur'an is funny, humor is strictly forbidden, and so is self-mockery, self-criticism, self-control. In the end, there is no Humanity, because the human is the animal that laughs.

I only laugh when it hurts, said the man with the harpoon through his middle. That guy was surely jewish, because Jewish humor flourished even in the Nazi Camps. It is human to laugh. It is inhuman to order the check after a meal in the restaurant, smile hideously at the baby in the pram, and pull the cord blasting him and twenty other humans to bleeding pieces. introducing Waffa Idris, the darling suicide bomber of the Arab world.

There is the difference. Cartoons mocking the Holocaust are met with wry smiles in Israel. Cartoons depicting the Apostle as the terrorist he surely was engender world-wide riots. Take your pick which part of Humanity you would rather belong to. Those who laugh or those who explode.
