HARRAK: Why do you have a problem with the Bukhari hadith apostate quoted. Dont you know Bukharee spent his life time checking the authenticity of the hadiths he quoted and ensured that they were according to quranic teachings or did not violate them.

The hadith is about the hippocrites.
BukhariVolume 1, Book 11, Number 626:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "No prayer is harder for the hypocrites than the Fajr and the 'Isha' prayers and if they knew the reward for these prayers at their respective times, they would certainly present themselves (in the mosques) even if they had to c awl." The Prophet added, "Certainly I decided to order the Mu'adh-dhin (call-maker) to pronounce Iqama and order a man to lead the prayer and then take a fire flame to burn all those who had not left their houses so far for the prayer along with their houses."

In the following aya Allah is talking about hippocrites. He is ordering them to be killed wherever they are. Some muslims were deliberately missing prayers at the mosque. Prophet was pretty sure they were hippcrites who had abandoned their faith. If he had them burnt while they slept in their houses , he was following Allah's orders of the following aya.

004.089
YUSUFALI: They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.

This hadiths is exactly acording to 4.89. Whoever doubts this hadith , is an apostate and has discarded his religion. And you know Mohammed called for killing of apostates:
Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 260:
Narrated Ikrima:
Prophet said 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' "
