Agreed, it's too complex, and as Pipes says, similar problems attend to determining who is Muslim. The default for countries infested with jihadism and Islamists should be no immigration at all. Then we can go through the interrogation process with the few we really want to admit.

The problem is, our bureaucracy is so PC at this point that this kind of interrogation is out of the question - especially repeated interrogations over time. Plus, Democrats love to admit Muslims, who vote for them 70% of the time, which biases the procedure.

Therefore - no immigration from the countries in question is the correct approach.
