Reader comment on item: Identifying Islamists through Interrogations

All this is well and good, but surely does nothing to protect against admitting one of the 85% of non-Islamist Muslims who subsequently becomes one of the 15% of Islamists. I don't have statistics on how often that happens (perhaps you do, Dr Pipes?) but surely that the "border" between non-Islamist and Islamist Islam is quite porous?

All of which brings me back to thinking that Donald Trump's formulation on this (and I say this hoping he won't be the Republican nominee) isn't as outrageous or unworkable as it may sound - and I also think it may be legal and moral too...

Excluding all Muslims is not only not going to happen, ever, but it's also no easier to implement than my schema. What's to stop mass fake-real conversions to Christianity?
