Trump's comments not inconsistent with Dr. Pipes'

Reader comment on item: Identifying Islamists through Interrogations

Submitted by Rich McMahon (United States), Jan 15, 2016 at 00:57

Dr. Pipes' recommendation to thoroughly screen Muslims entering our Country (to weed out Islamists) is not inconsistent with Trump's more general admonishment to keep Muslims out "until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on."

Surely this can be construed to include Dr Pipes' (or similar) screening procedures, which if indeed are viable will take months to develop and implement.
