Just hire Israelis only for TSA, and let them do their stuff

Reader comment on item: Identifying Islamists through Interrogations

Submitted by Michael S (United States), Jan 12, 2016 at 23:53

Hello, Daniel

The polygraph pic is cute; but it ignores something: (1) In Islam, it's not considered a sin to lie; so Muslims probably don't trigger polygraphs the way Westerners do, (2) The real cuckoos are psychopaths, who don't register on polygraphs like normal people, and (3) that all sounds like a great deal of expense. It would be far, far, far, far, far more expedient, simply to hire Israelis to man our TSA lines -- and to let them rip.

Meanwhile, what is the US to do, while TSA gets their act together -- which is another way of saying, "until pigs fly", but even granted that pigs might fly? Until we get our act together, we need to simply BAN MUSLIMS FROM BEING ACCEPTED AS IMMIGRANTS. It seems to me, that a US Presidential candidate suggested this, but few in the media seemed to hear it. It's called "common sense", something that seems to be in very short supply outside of GOP voters.
