Reader comment on item: Twenty Years of Illusion about Islamism
in response to reader comment: book burning

Submitted by the Grand Infidel of Kaffiristan (Australia), Jun 14, 2012 at 01:09

ScottinDallas , when faced with the facts now completely revises his statements:

"It was destroyed several times. But, the point is that Muslims, Christians, Catholics, and Nazis all burned libraries."

Obfuscation. We were talking quite specifically about that ancient great Library of Alexandria - not Crystallnacht in Nazi Gerrmany, or a library in your home town torched by a pissed-off pyromaniac. So now you will agree that Muslims themselves burned this library - yes or no?

Facts are facts - "your willingness to compromise that is bigotry, and cutting your nose to spite your face."
