you don't know what you're talking about. At all. First off, there are at least 7 schools of thought of Sharia, and these are debated, and each state, each Muslim is allowed their own idea. There is nothing fixed in Sharia. Sharia is as close to "Case Law" as anything. It's not some codex, it's not the Torah. There is no death penalty for leaving the faith. The death penalty is for a crime akin to Treason.

If you're bothered by Islam, you would be better served to learn of it's liberal tradition, and challenge Muslims to come to that. But, I suspect you don't give one damn about that. You just ... won't be bothered to understand. That's fine, no one's asking you to, but, for your own good, shut up about things you're ignorant about, ...
