Reader comment on item: Twenty Years of Illusion about Islamism
in response to reader comment: they all look alike?

Submitted by Ibn Ismail (South Africa), Jun 7, 2012 at 00:52

Islamists view democracy the same way that "democratists" view Islam. Democracy will fight Islam an ideological war and a military war, what makes you think Islam won't do the same. There is no established Islamic state with a righteous leader in this era, Islamists want to establish it. Democracy will do (is doing) everything in its power to not let it get established. Once it has a solid platform or base, true sharia will be seen in the world. Democracy is a lie, which "democracy" says: "Oh citizens, you are FREE to do evil" Nobody believes in freedom, all believe freedom has limits. So does Islamic shariah.
