It was destroyed several times. But, the point is that Muslims, Christians, Catholics, and Nazis all burned libraries. The Christian Right loves burning books and records. And, many here advocate book burning, mosque burning and other depredations on the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. Muslims have the same right to pray in this country as you do. Your willingness to compromise that is bigotry, and cutting your nose to spite your face.
